Parkhill Family Enterprises, LLC, doing business as My Favorite Chicken, warrants the Radiant Chicken Coop Heater, model CPHEAT, under the terms of this One-Year Limited Warranty. Product registration is not required.
Who and What Is Covered
This warranty applies to a new Radiant Chicken Coop Heater purchased at retail in the United States when the person requesting service can provide the original sales receipt or order confirmation. It covers the heater and components originally supplied with it.
Warranty Period
Coverage lasts for one year from the original retail purchase date shown on the proof of purchase. A replacement product or component is covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.
What This Warranty Covers
This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that prevent the heater from operating substantially as described in the product manual during normal household use. The heater is designed for 110-volt electrical service and must be installed, operated, cleaned, and maintained according to the manual.
What My Favorite Chicken Will Do
After confirming an eligible defect, My Favorite Chicken will, at its option, provide troubleshooting assistance, repair the product, supply a replacement component, replace the heater with the same or a reasonably comparable product, or refund the original product purchase price when repair or replacement is not reasonably available. Covered parts and approved standard shipping associated with the warranty remedy will be provided without charge. Any replacement may be new or functionally equivalent.
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
- Normal wear, cosmetic changes, scratches, dents, discoloration, or surface corrosion that does not prevent normal operation
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accident, improper storage, improper installation, incorrect voltage, unsuitable electrical service, or operation contrary to the product manual
- Damage caused by moisture, immersion, outdoor exposure contrary to the instructions, or use in a wet location
- Damage caused by covering the heater, blocking heat transfer, placing it too close to unsuitable materials, or failing to allow heat to escape
- Damage caused by puncture, alteration, incompatible attachments, unauthorized repairs, or modification of the plug, cord, housing, controls, or heating panel
- Damage caused by animals, pests, fire, flooding, lightning, power surges, severe weather, or other external events
- Damage resulting from commercial use or use for a purpose other than ordinary household poultry-coop, compatible animal-housing, or low-setting brooder operation described in the manual
- Incidental damage to animals, a coop, bedding, other property, or another product that is not itself a warranted heater component
Important Use and Safety Limitations
Before use, the owner must determine whether the heater is suitable, adequate, and safe for the intended location and application. This warranty does not promise that the heater is suitable or fit for every specific application. The heater provides localized radiant warmth and is not a whole-coop space heater.
The metal panel becomes hot and may cause burns through direct contact. Keep the heater dry and uncovered, keep heat-transfer areas clear, and use the low setting only for brooder applications. Unplug the heater and stop using it if it is damaged, wet, overheating, sparking, producing an unusual odor, or otherwise appears unsafe.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Stop using and unplug the heater if it appears damaged or unsafe.
- Contact My Favorite Chicken through the Contact page, email info@myfavoritechicken.com, or call 800-684-1552 and select option 2 when available.
- Provide the purchaser's name, original receipt or order confirmation, purchase date, model CPHEAT, and a description of the problem.
- When requested and safe to do so, provide photographs or a short video showing the heater, installation, controls, cord, plug, or reported problem.
- Complete reasonable troubleshooting steps provided by our support team. Do not open the heater or ship it unless we issue return instructions and a Return Authorization number.
