Last updated: September 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Parkhill Family Enterprises, LLC, doing business as My Favorite Chicken ("My Favorite Chicken," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information through myfavoritechicken.com, our online store, and related customer interactions.
This policy applies to the My Favorite Chicken website and store. Our mobile application and API integrations have separate privacy and deletion notices where indicated below.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

We may collect your name, billing and shipping addresses, email address, telephone number, account credentials, order and subscription details, product preferences, gift-card information, affiliate or wholesale application information, reviews, form submissions, customer-service messages, return and warranty information, and other information you choose to provide.
When you place an order, payment-card information is collected and processed by our payment processor, Authorize.Net. My Favorite Chicken receives transaction status, tokenized or limited payment details, and order information needed to complete the purchase, but the full payment-card number is not stored on the My Favorite Chicken website.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use the site, we and our service providers may collect your IP address, browser and device information, operating system, referring pages, pages and products viewed, searches, clicks, cart and checkout activity, approximate location derived from IP address, cookie identifiers, advertising identifiers, and information about how the site performs and is used.

Information from Other Sources

We may receive order, customer, shipment, fraud-prevention, advertising, or marketplace information from payment processors, shipping and fulfillment providers, advertising platforms, analytics providers, affiliate partners, wholesale customers, and marketplaces through which you interact with or purchase our products.

How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to:

  • process orders, payments, subscriptions, returns, exchanges, refunds, warranties, and deliveries;
  • create and maintain customer, wholesale, and affiliate accounts;
  • provide customer support and respond to questions;
  • send transactional messages, product updates, and marketing communications where permitted;
  • personalize content, measure advertising, and understand website and campaign performance;
  • detect and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and prohibited activity;
  • maintain, troubleshoot, and improve our website, products, and services; and
  • comply with legal, tax, accounting, safety, and regulatory obligations and enforce our agreements.

Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, preferences, analytics, fraud prevention, marketing, and advertising. Essential cookies support functions such as the cart, checkout, security, and account login. Other cookies help us measure traffic, understand customer interests, and show or evaluate advertising.
Our site may use services from Google, Meta/Facebook, TikTok, Klaviyo, Yotpo, and other advertising or analytics providers. These providers may receive cookie identifiers, device information, IP address, browsing activity, order-event data, or similar information under their own privacy terms. We do not sell personal information for money. However, disclosures involving advertising cookies may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or processing for targeted advertising under some state privacy laws.
You can use the cookie-preference control displayed on the site, where available, to manage nonessential cookies. You may also adjust browser settings, use platform advertising controls, or contact us to request an opt-out. Blocking some cookies may affect site functionality.

How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients when reasonably necessary:

  • Website and ecommerce providers, including hosting, security, content-management, store, form, email, and technical-support services such as SiteGround, WordPress, WooCommerce, and related service providers.
  • Payment and fraud-prevention providers, including Authorize.Net and services used to screen and process transactions.
  • Shipping and fulfillment providers, including USPS, UPS, FedEx, Veeqo, XPS Ship, Printful, warehouses, manufacturers, and other fulfillment partners used for an order.
  • Marketing, analytics, reviews, and advertising providers, including Google, Meta/Facebook, TikTok, Klaviyo, Yotpo, and affiliate-program services.
  • Marketplaces and business customers, including marketplace operators and retail partners when an order or relationship involves those parties.
  • Professional advisers and authorities, when needed for legal, accounting, insurance, safety, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or regulatory purposes.
  • Business transferees, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.

We do not permit service providers to use personal information for purposes outside the services they provide to us except as allowed by their agreements and applicable law.

Email and Marketing Choices

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message. We may still send nonmarketing communications about orders, subscriptions, accounts, security, policy changes, or customer-service requests.

Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. The following is our general retention schedule unless a longer or shorter period is required or permitted by law, contract, a legal hold, a dispute, fraud prevention, security needs, or another documented business requirement:

  • Orders, payments, refunds, tax, and accounting records: generally up to seven years after the transaction.
  • Customer account and profile information: while the account is active and generally up to two years after account closure or the last account activity. Transaction records connected to the account may be kept longer as described above.
  • Customer-service, return, exchange, warranty, and dispute records: generally up to three years after the matter is resolved or the applicable warranty expires, whichever is later.
  • Wholesale and affiliate records: for the relationship and generally up to four years after it ends. Related tax and payment records may be retained for up to seven years.
  • Marketing subscriptions, consent, and opt-out records: while a person remains subscribed or otherwise consents. We retain a minimal suppression record for as long as reasonably necessary to honor an unsubscribe or opt-out.
  • Analytics, advertising identifiers, and ordinary technical logs: generally between 14 and 26 months, depending on the service and our settings.
  • Security, fraud-prevention, and abuse records: generally up to three years after the relevant activity or investigation is closed.
  • Abandoned carts and incomplete form submissions: generally up to 12 months unless the information becomes part of a completed transaction, account, consent record, or customer-service matter.
  • Privacy requests and verification records: generally up to two years after the request is completed.
  • Backups: routine rolling backups are generally overwritten or deleted within 90 days, unless a backup must be preserved for legal, security, recovery, or compliance purposes.

When a retention period expires, we delete or de-identify the information where reasonably practicable. Information may remain for a limited time in protected backups or with service providers before routine deletion cycles complete. De-identified information that cannot reasonably be linked to an individual may be retained for legitimate business purposes.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No website, transmission, or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, or other sensitive authentication information by email or contact form.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence and applicable law, you may have the right to confirm whether we process your personal information; access or obtain a portable copy; correct inaccuracies; request deletion; opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling; limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and appeal a decision on a privacy request. You will not be discriminated against for exercising an applicable privacy right.
To submit a request or appeal, email info@myfavoritechicken.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" or write to the address below. Describe the right you wish to exercise and identify the email address or order information associated with your relationship with us. We may ask for reasonable verification and may deny or limit a request where allowed by law. If you appeal a decision, state that your message is a "Privacy Appeal" and explain the basis of the appeal. We aim to respond within 45 days where required by applicable law and will explain if additional time is reasonably necessary.
An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law. We may require proof of authorization and verification of the consumer's identity. If an appeal is denied, we will provide information about contacting the appropriate regulator where required.

The website and store are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from a child under 13 without legally required parental consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

Our site may link to websites, marketplaces, social networks, manufacturers, and services that we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Review those policies before providing information to them.
